2007 Summer Institure Scholarship Application

The Friends of the GSYO awards scholarships to GSYO members for tuition at a recognized summer music camp or institute. Recipients are selected by the Music Director based on their performance in the GSYO Concerto Competition.

Awards are paid directly to the summer institute you will be attending. Recipients are expected to audition for the GSYO the following year unless they are seniors. All students in the GSYO are eligible for these awards, provided they participate in and abide by the rules of the Concerto Competition. Recipients will be announced at the Winter Concert, and awards must be claimed by June 1, 2007. Previous recipients may not repeat consecutive years.

Submit an application only if you are seriously planning on attending a summer music program. This scholarship may not be used for any purposes other than tuition to a summer music camp or institute.

Students will be considered for this scholarship only if this form is submitted.

Please print all information clearly and in ink. This application must be received no later than November 1, 2006, to be considered, and must be signed by both the student and the parent/guardian.
